Role Overview The RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies. They support evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and promote a respectful, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans using critical thinking and evidence-based standards. Partner with patients and families to deliver culturally sensitive care, ensuring patient goals are central to the care process. Coordinate safe, effective care delivery through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation. Support professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in research and performance improvement activities. Adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including safety goals and policies. Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and quality outcomes such as reducing readmissions and adverse events. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact). Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills; proficient in technology and time management.
