Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Retail Staff Pharmacist role is available on a contract basis, providing essential pharmacy coverage in Walkerton, IN. This position requires 32 to 40 hours per week, starting immediately, with a focus on Thursday and Friday shifts and alternating Saturdays.

Location:

• Walkerton, IN

Schedule:

• Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturdays (every other week): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 4-5 days per week (32-40 hours)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with order entry systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail in filling orders and verifying technician-prepared products
• Ability to maintain pharmacy security and control over controlled substances
• Accuracy in entering orders and patient information

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescription orders
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities, checking all dispensed products before release
• Ensure compliance with security protocols for pharmacy and controlled substances
• Enter orders and patient data into the system with precision
• Support the retail pharmacy team in delivering excellent customer service and efficient medication dispensing
