Job Description:

The registered nurse will provide care to complex ICU patients in a mixed unit that includes MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU. The nurse will manage patient care for a variety of conditions including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. Experience with Epic and comfortability with a 48-hour workweek are required.

Responsibilities:

• Care for complex ICU patients with conditions such as ARDS, MI, and COVID.
• Manage critical care procedures including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Float to other adult floors and emergency department as needed.

Requirements:

• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Completion of an approved nursing education program and South Dakota RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience (excluding travel experience).
• Epic charting experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Willingness to obtain TNCC certification if not already certified.
