Wonderly Lights of Virginia Beach is seeking experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals with leadership skills and a background in roofing, gutter, or window installation to serve as Lead Christmas Light Installers .

As a Lead Installer, you’ll take charge of installation teams, ensuring high-quality work and smooth execution of projects. This position is perfect for those who are comfortable towing trailers, working on roofs and ladders, have experience in problem-solving, and is someone who takes pride in craftsmanship.

Must be comfortable and experienced working on shingled roofs and ladders, with a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Holiday Lights Installation Specialists.
• Plan, organize, and oversee the installation and removal of holiday lights and décor on residential homes, commercial buildings, trees and shrubs.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to company protocols, especially when working on ladders or roofs.
• Provide on-site leadership, resolving any issues that arise during installations and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
• Train and guide your team, helping them develop their skills and ensuring they follow best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of job site activities and materials used.
• Ensure that all job sites are left clean and orderly after installations are completed.

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable and experienced working on shingled roofs and ladders, with a strong focus on safety.
• Experience with hooking up, towing, and driving a trailer, preferred. 
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in-home services, construction, or a similar field.
• Strong technical skills, with experience in lighting installations and electrical setups.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends during the installation season as needed.
