This VA Medical Center places a significant emphasis on mental and behavioral health care, offering counseling, therapy, and treatment for conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety and provides a vital support service, including social work, case management, and rehabilitation programs to address veterans' social and emotional needs.ResponsibilitiesThe LVN provides skilled nursing care to patients in Specialty and Primary Care ClinicsAdminister medications via oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous routes per facility policies.Monitor and document patients' responses to medications and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.The LVN assists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Support physicians and registered nurses in developing and implementing patient care plans.Be available for assignments in acute care, medical/surgical units, outpatient clinics, and lab settings.
