Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Health

Job Description Shift: 3/12 hour shifts from 7pm–7am with rotating weekends. Location: Triangle Springs, a 77‑bed behavioral health hospital in Raleigh, NC, treating substance abuse and mental health patients. As a registered nurse (RN), you will assess patients, plan care, supervise shifts, ensure policy compliance, monitor patient conditions, administer medication, and provide compassionate, dignity‑respecting care. Assess the patient and plan care within set time‑frames and document findings according to policies. Oversee and supervise the shift, delegating tasks such as group work, close observation, meal supervision, etc., to demonstrate leadership. Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered by self and all team members. Monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly, including notification of the physician. Follow hospital policy for medication administration. Use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients. Deliver quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies. Assist or perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.
