Materials Handler I

Material Handler IThe Material Handler I is a part of a team working to support the Manufacturing Department in the Production of Drug Products. The position is responsible for receiving all general items, as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) raw materials. The quarantining, releasing, and issuing of GMP material through the Business Central software system. The Material Handler will also assist in the labeling of clinical drug products and will also be assisting in the clinical drug product shipments, as well as shipping to contract labs for testing.ResponsibilitiesPosition Responsibilities:Learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasksQuarantine and release GMP materials following established proceduresIssue GMP materials to support ManufacturingAssist with clinical vial labelingWeekly cleaning of Material Management (MM) rooms and transport cartsReceipt of MFG retains and receipt of QC tested material retains.File all Material Management (MM) associated documents, MM binder upkeep.Distribute mailOther responsibilities as neededQualificationsRequired Skills:Accuracy and reliabilityExperience with Microsoft Word and OutlookStrong communication and organizational skillsThe ability to multitask and to work independently and as part of a teamProblem solving and critical thinkingKnowledge of inventory tracking softwarePreferably DOT/IATA trainingEducation/Experience:1-3 years' experience in shipping and receiving preferredCompensation StatementThe expected base salary for this position is: $42350.00 to $55000.00. We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.
