Store Directors duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and develop store staff to create a high-performing team. Oversee staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage during all operating hours. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Facilitate ongoing training and development programs for staff. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and state regulations regarding cannabis sales. Operations & Compliance Monitor daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory control processes are followed. Oversee the handling of cash and credit card transactions, ensuring adherence to secure cash management procedures. Stay current on state and local cannabis laws and ensure store compliance with all regulations. Conduct regular audits to identify and address any discrepancies or operational challenges. Customer Experience Foster a welcoming and professional environment for customers and employees. Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner. Ensure that all staff deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience. Educate customers about products and responsible use of cannabis products. Monitor and analyze sales performance to meet or exceed store targets. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve store performance. Requirements What you bring to the table Retail and/or Dispensary Management experience (3-5 years) Leadership skills to mentor and motivate a high-performing team Operational expertise in sales, inventory control, compliance and financial oversight Customer-centric mindset to create an outstanding dispensary experience Adaptability and problem solving skills to thrive in Montana's evolving cannabis marketplace Work Days: Tuesday through Saturday Off Days: Sunday/Monday Expected to work, at a minimum, 45 hours per week This role requires flexibility to adjust schedule as business needs demand, including occasional work on scheduled off days, evenings, or extended hours to support store operations, compliance requirements, peak business periods, staffing coverage, or team needs. As the senior leader of the store, the Store Director is expected to ensure consistent operational leadership presence when the business requires it.
