Program Coordinator

Materials Program Manager Bloom Energy is looking for a Materials Program Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on‑site, in‑office role requiring 5 days per week. The role reports to the Sr Director Materials Program Management and is a critical component of our Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization. Role and Responsibilities Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements Own new products and ensure materials and manufacturing readiness for NPI requirements Coordinate materials readiness, availability, and visibility for new products Ensure manufacturing readiness; provide DFM feedback, NPI build planning, and system readiness Interact with supply partners and internal core teams such as Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc., on new product schedules and deliverables Track engineering and development builds, including component cost tracking Plan, quote, procure, and manage materials liability for critical components Prepare and communicate critical material updates at weekly new product program reviews Leverage deep understanding of our commodity terms to ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules and inventory control requirements Oversee new product handoff to operations teams Skills, Experiences, and Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 8+ years of professional experience Positive attitude and teamwork Problem‑solving ability and influence through relationships and data Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint with deep Excel techniques Professional experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management International experience and knowledge of Mandarin, Japanese, and/or Vietnamese languages is a plus Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
