Theidealcandidatewillbemotivatedandhaveasolution-orientatedattitudeandthedesiretobuildalong-termcareerwithWarnerMechanical.WarnerMechanicalPlumbersthrivewhentheyhaveasenseofurgencyandapproachcomplexsituationswithpositivity.Theseindividualswillexcelatcommunicationandbeeagertorepresentourcompanywiththehighestlevelofintegrity.Theywillconfigure,install,fitandmaintainvariouspipingsystems,andensuresmoothoperationofthesesystems. Thepayrangeforthispositionis$25-$44perhourandwillbedeterminedbasedonaskillassessmentandexperience. JobDuties/Responsibilities Plans,prepares,installs,andmaintainspipingandplumbingsystemscomposedofvariousmaterials;systemsmayincludepipes,pressureandvacuumgauges,pipelinefilters,steamtraps,andstrainervalves. Understandingofplumbingandmechanicalsystemdesignsanddiagrams. Refertoblueprintsandschematicstoinstallnewsystemsandtotroubleshoot,maintain,andrepairexistingequipment. Assemblesfittingsandvalvesforinstallation. Installpipesandfixturesperregulation. Modifylengthofpipes,fixtures,andotherplumbingmaterialsasneededforprojects. Usehandtoolsasnecessary. Testplumbingsystemsforleaksandotherproblems.Reportorresolveproblemsasnecessary. Abletoworkinateamsettingandworkindependently,efficiently,andsafely. Requirements: Minimum3yearsofcommercialplumbingexperience Experienceworkingonnewcommercialmechanicalconstructionprojectspreferred. Threadpipeandworkwithsteelpipe. Abilitytoworkfromdrawings,understandingofhowplumbingsystemswork. Abilitytoworkinconfinedspacesandanyweathercondition. Excellentorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail. Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills. Attentiontodetailtofollowinstructionsand/ordirectionfromplans,andsupervisors. Excellentverbalandwrittenskills. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandsafely. WorkEnvironment: Shopfabricationand/orfieldinstallationwork. Exposuretovaryingtemperatures,noise,dust,andjobsiteconditions. Mayrequireovertime,evenings,orweekendsbasedonprojectneeds.
