Temp-to-Perm Physician Assistant

Temp-to-perm Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract in a scenic rural community near Eureka, California. Provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. Compensation up to $5,600 per week based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent-care setting
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and health management

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active California Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for reciprocity)
• NCCPA certification required
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year of Physician Assistant experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Adaptability in a fast-paced or rural healthcare setting
