Staff Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

SUMMARY We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This position is a 0.6 FTE (4 shifts/pay period), 12-hour shifts, nights, every third weekend. RESPONSIBILITIES Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health Preventing illness and injury Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: 1 year of current ED professional nursing (RN) experience or 1 year of current ICU (including neonatal or pediatric ICU) professional nursing (RN) experience or 3 years of current inpatient Med/Surg professional nursing (RN) experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota Preferred Qualifications: Certification in area of clinical specialty (CEN, TNCC, CTRN, CPEN, or CFRN) BSN Preferred – Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
