Enrollment Technician

Overview Pierce Group Benefits, part of Gallagher, is the largest provider of employee benefits consulting in North Carolina’s public sector. We are looking for an Enrollment Technician to support our Data Management Team and Account Executive team, ensuring high‑quality benefits administration for clients. Position Details Pay: Starting at $55,000 per year Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST Work location: Fully remote; applicant must be able to work in EST or CST time zone Required skill: Advanced Microsoft Excel Benefits begin on day one Responsibilities Support the Data Management Team using Selerix, Employee Navigator, Gathr, Harmony, Excel, and other technology platforms Collaborate with the Account Executive team to provide technical support related to the benefits administration system and meet client expectations Configure and maintain benefits administration systems for clients, including plans, eligibility, coverage options, and premiums Run and maintain routine reports, including custom data reports Respond to benefit and system‑related inquiries promptly Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve errors Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical colleagues Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet client deadlines Maintain security and confidentiality of all client data in accordance with company policy and HIPAA requirements Complete special projects as assigned Follow company procedures concerning all essential duties and responsibilities Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Preferred Experience with Selerix BenSelect, Employee Navigator, Gathr, or other benefits administration systems Excellent problem‑solving, logical reasoning, attention to detail, and analytical skills Knowledge or experience with HIPAA regulations Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel (must have), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Benefits Minimum core benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans, starting from day one Life and accident insurance 401(k) and Roth options Tax‑advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA) Educational expense reimbursement Paid parental leave Other benefits Digital mental health services (Talkspace) Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function) Training programs Gallagher Thrive program – health challenges, workshops, digital fitness programs Charitable matching gift program Additional benefits may apply Equal Employment Opportunity Gallagher believes that all persons are entitled to equal employment opportunity and prohibits any form of discrimination by its managers, employees, vendors or customers based on race, color, religion, creed, gender (including pregnancy status), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, hair expression, marital status, parental status, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition, genetic information, veteran or military status, citizenship status, or other characteristics protected by applicable laws.
