Job Description

The Assistant Manager Retail supports store leadership by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate retail team members to ensure productivity and engagement
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Manage inventory, order stock, and monitor sales to meet targets
  • Conduct staff training and development sessions
  • Maintain attractive visual merchandising standards
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in daily cash handling
  • Prepare and submit reports on store performance and operations
  • Create staff schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency
  • Oversee general store operations and maintain compliance with policies

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail management
