Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,500 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Performs patient assessments: Accurately assesses patient’s appropriateness for home care, learning needs and progress toward goals. Collaborates with patient, family, and physician to develop the plan of care for the patient. Performs baseline assessment of patient swallowing, communication, and cognitive abilities as indicated. Maintains safe environment for patients and co-workers: Assesses social environment and adjust or provide education as needed. Assess for potential clinical risks and adapt program as indicated. Follows universal infection control measures. Implements treatment program to achieve designated goals: Administer occupational therapy services per physician orders. Instruct in communication and safe swallow, cognitive training as indicated. Develop and instruct in therapeutic exercise program. Implement program to restore function, and achieve maximum functional status. Graduate of an accredited speech and language program with a minimum of a Master’s degree. Current NJ ST License.
