Caf Utility Assistant

Boe Nutrition Center Salary: $16.35 per hour/18.75 hours per week/42 weeks

Part-time position

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize all dishware, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment following safety and health protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and utility areas.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly; assist with proper waste disposal.
• Support the food service team by transporting clean trays, dishes, and utensils to serving areas.
• Help receive, unpack, and store kitchen supplies and deliveries as needed.
• Refill handwashing and sanitation supplies (soap, paper towels, sanitizing solution).
• Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping, spot mopping, and ensuring no slip hazards in utility and dishwashing areas.
• Lift boxes, trays, and crates of dishes or supplies as required.
• Comply with all local and state health regulations and district policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the kitchen lead or manager.
