Position Summary UVA Health seeks a full‑time or part‑time Pediatric Radiologist, CAQ eligible or certified, to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging in Charlottesville, VA. The role involves clinical diagnostic and procedural pediatric radiology services, training of ACGME‑approved fellowship and residency candidates, and collaboration with pediatric subspecialty colleagues. Responsibilities • Perform pediatric radiology examinations and procedures, including X‑ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other modalities available in the main hospital and the dedicated Battle Building. • Provide diagnostic interpretation and interventional support for a wide spectrum of patients, from newborns to adolescents. • Educate medical students, pediatric residents, diagnostic and interventional radiology residents, and fellows in pediatric radiology and related subspecialties. • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and academic research activities within the Division of Pediatric Radiology. Qualifications MD or equivalent degree. Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology or eligibility to obtain subspecialty certification. Virginia State Medical Licensure (or eligibility). Clinical experience in pediatric radiology (inclusive of fluoroscopy, excluding IR procedures). Commitment to academic teaching and research.
