ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Job DetailsUnit: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)Shift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekYears of Experience: 2 yearsShift Notes: Night shifts with a minimum of 6-9 weekends in a 6-week schedule. Potential for floating within designated zones as needed.QualificationsRequired Certifications: BLS (AHA)ACLS (AHA)NIHSSCRRTMust have general critical care experience with flexible and adaptable skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.Titrate drips including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, and analgesics as needed.Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.Participate in unit-based activities and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.Self-schedule weekends and holidays in alignment with unit staffing plans.Additional InformationCharge nurse does not take an assignment.RNs are responsible for reading their own telemetry strips with the use of Philips monitors.Respiratory Therapy is available 24/7 within the ICU.Orientation and training provided during the first week, with specific dates and locations assigned.Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs are required.If you are passionate about providing exceptional care to critically ill patients and meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.Client Details City Denver State CO
