About the Role:
David S Doka M D P A is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in El Paso, TX. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate wait times to ensure a smooth office experience
• Handle medical billing inquiries, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk setting preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus in the El Paso, TX community
• High school diploma or equivalent required
