Provalus is seeking a Service Desk Analyst I (Entry-Level) to coordinate and support the work performed by vendors, helping ensure timely completion, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. You will serve as a key point of contact between vendors, dispatch, field technicians, and engineering teams, helping keep workflows aligned and issues moving toward resolution. 

This is a hands-on entry point into service desk and dispatch operations: you will work under regular guidance from a Lead and senior teammates as you learn to manage vendor workloads, navigate tracking and reporting tools, and support the day-to-day rhythm of dispatch and field operations.

THE JOB 

Responsibilities include: 

• Vendor Workload Management: Assign, monitor, and manage vendor workloads, following documented procedures to guide day-to-day coordination. 
• Job Status Review: Review and validate job status updates, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up. 
• Issue Investigation: Help investigate delays, missed commitments, and service-impacting issues, escalating complex cases as needed. 
• Dispatch Support: Support dispatch operations with administrative tasks and field readiness verification. 
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and operational reporting dashboards accurately and on schedule. 
• Cross-Team Communication: Communicate regularly with vendors, dispatch, field technicians, and engineering teams to ensure workflow alignment and issue resolution. 
• Escalation: Recognize when an issue is complex, high-impact, or outside your authority, and escalate promptly to an Analyst II or Lead. 
• Productivity & Quality: Meet daily task-handling, turnaround-time, and quality/accuracy targets set by the program. 
• Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned; responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as business needs require. 

Role Requirements include: 

• Must have HS Diploma or GED. 
• Ability to work onsite at the Provalus office. No remote positions are available currently. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and workload tracking systems. 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Reliable, coachable, and eager to learn in a structured, metric-driven environment. 
• Preferred Qualifications 
• Previous service desk, dispatch, operations coordination, or vendor management experience. 
• Familiarity with reporting dashboards or workforce/dispatch management systems. 
• Experience working with field technicians, vendors, or technical support teams.
