Job Title Senior Accountant Location Santa Paula, CA, US Experience Senior Level Salary $85,000 - $125,000 per year Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepare/post journal entries and analyze reconciliations Support month-end close, intercompany entries, and eliminations Maintain lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 Assist with fixed assets and depreciation schedules Conduct freight expense and SG&A analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Contribute to SEC filing support and audit prep Reconcile liability, bank, and unvouchered accounts Deliver ad hoc financial reporting and senior‑level insights Qualifications – Needed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3 years of SEC reporting in a public company At least 5 years in similar accounting roles Proficiency with GAAP and internal controls Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft D365, ProducePro, or ERP systems Lease accounting and fixed asset management Audit or international accounting experience a plus A Bit About Us Founded nearly 100 years ago, we are a leading fresh food company known for our vertically integrated operations and commitment to quality.
