Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the operating room. The role involves ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, leading a team of professionals, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage OR team to ensure optimal operation and compliance with all guidelines.
• Manage KPI improvements such as Turnaround times and First case on time starts.
• Prepare for and manage regulatory surveys such as TJC and DOH.
• Implement new project roll-outs ensuring sustainable compliance.
• Oversee scheduling in UKG/Kronos/Workday.
• Provide direct care for patients in OR as needed.
• Troubleshoot as a resource without weekends or holidays.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as OR leader with trauma experience.
• Prefer CNOR certification.
• Strong understanding of Current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practice.
• Experience in managing a collective bargaining department.
• HRO trained is desirable.
