Certified Medical Assistant

Full Time Technical Casper, WY, US Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) **to support our growing clinical team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families who need it the most. As part of our integrated health care model, you'll work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your skills and compassion truly matter. The CMA provides clinical support services to the providers. Duties include: Preparation of patients for the exam room Observing, interviewing and notating patient symptoms Basic laboratory testing, ECG, and updraft treatments Measurement of vital signs Assisting with procedures Administering medications and immunizations Maintaining quality, safety and/or infection control standards Safely operating various medical equipment Sterilizing supplies and equipment Maintaining and restocking examination and procedure rooms** ** This position also requires Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency and a basic knowledge of front office procedures such as scheduling appointments. The CMA will be expected to work in other areas of the clinic when deemed appropriate, such as the Call Center or floating to other areas when needed.
