Location: Must be local to Fargo, ND for as-needed business meetings (will work mostly remote)Schedule: Full-time business hoursDuration: Rolling, ongoing contractCompensation Range: $60.00 - $65.00/hr W2We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Creative Operations Team Lead to drive the strategy, operations, and growth of a newly established in-house creative agency. Partnering closely with marketing leadership, this role unites account guidance, project execution, and team development.The ideal leader will ensure all studio deliverables elevate business goals while optimizing internal efficiency. Success in this role is measured by client satisfaction scores, efficient resource utilization, and the on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality creative work. Following a phased "crawl-walk-run" approach, you will help transition work from external agencies to this internal team, gradually increasing project complexity as the studio evolves into a best-in-class in-house creative agency.Responsibilities:Account Management (30%): Build and strengthen long-term relationships as the primary point of contact; partner with stakeholders to create thorough, actionable creative briefs that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.Project Management (30%): Negotiate project scopes, timelines, and budgets; provide hands-on management of projects using Monday.com; oversee metadata standards, taxonomies, and content workflows for efficient digital asset discovery.Operations (20%): Manage creative resource allocation and utilization; develop and refine workflows, SOPs, and SLAs; optimize time-tracking and project management tools while proactively integrating AI tools and emerging technologies; capture metrics to present regular performance reports.Team Leadership (20%): Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development to a multidisciplinary studio team (including a Production Designer, Content Writer, Web Publisher, Video Editor, and Data Librarian); foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high engagement. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.Minimum of five years of professional experience in creative operations, account management, or project coordination, preferably within a corporate marketing or specialized environment.Substantial on-the-ground understanding of the creative development process across traditional and emerging channels, including print, digital, video, and production capabilities.Expert project management capabilities, including deep proficiency with project tracking and data management software like Monday.com.Strong organizational, prioritization, and financial management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Outstanding judgment and strategic business acumen to anticipate problems and see how solutions impact other processes, people, and projects.Must reside local to Fargo, ND to attend critical, as-needed on-site business meetings.The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, job location, specific responsibilities, certifications, and more.
