Phlebotomist - Part Time - In-Patient

Labcorp seeks a part-time phlebotomist for in-patient hospital work in Melrose, Massachusetts. The role involves blood collection, specimen processing, patient data entry, and customer service across early morning and rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation

Compensation: $22.00–$32.00 per hour
