Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with MI license to provide critical care in a busy Emergency Room. This role involves managing diverse patient conditions in a fast-paced rural hospital setting, ensuring high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and triage patients presenting with varied complaints including chest pain, respiratory issues, and trauma.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments such as IV sedation, vasopressors, and blood products in accordance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, and ventilated patient care.
  
  
• 
  Perform procedures including IV starts, central line care, and phlebotomy.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive emergency services.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active MI Registered Nurse license or pending license with in-hand validation.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience, preferably in ER or trauma settings.
  
  
• 
  Certification in ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in triage, patient assessment, and emergency procedures.
  
  
• 
  Capable of interpreting diagnostic tests such as ABGs and managing ventilated patients.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float between units and adapt to a high-pressure environment.
