Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and building conditions, reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests from tenants, guests, and on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
