Sheet Metal Mechanic

Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects located in or around Chattanooga, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal materials
Cut and shape metal to required specifications
Drill, rivet, and bolt sheet metal components together
Install fabricated metal parts and HVAC ductwork on commercial construction sites
Make modifications and adjustments to installations as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings
Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all job site safety standards
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial HVAC duct installation experience
Must have own hand tools
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must have experience measuring, cutting, and installing sheet metal components
Must have experience working in a commercial construction environment
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
