Wabtec is now hiring warehouse personnel in Yankton, SD. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour for a 2nd shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The lowdown:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of work experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Forklift experience preferred
• Wear proper PPE (earplugs, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves as required)
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand on concrete floors for 8–10 hours per shift
• Work in high-heat conditions
• Put up orders for the shop floor
• Maintain inventory control and accurate documentation
• Unload vendor deliveries and store materials in proper locations
• Record receivables and notify quality personnel of incoming materials
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and parts cage
• Order daily material needs through purchasing and create requisitions
• Ensure accurate counts of all shipments
• Coordinate with the shipping department to expedite outgoing orders
• Assist in other production areas as needed and qualified
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Occasional domestic and international travel may be required (including weekends, depending on project needs)
