MRI Tech Assistant

Position Summary
Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities throughout the department. Assists MRI Technologist in performing duties as well as help move and/or transport patients. Performs cleaning and organizing duties. Performs clerical functions. Follows policy and procedures. Ability to navigate on-line resources pertinent to job responsibilities.Responsibilities Ability to communicate with other individuals; visual acuity; ability to lift and move patients; ability to push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; ability to withstand long periods of sitting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Qualifications Completion of high school or its equivalent Knowledge of medical terminology Previous experience in healthcare or office setting preferred Maintains certification in BLS
