Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Newton, MA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a physician and CT Operations Manager, operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, and follow federal, state, and hospital policies for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. You will perform IV insertion and removal as required and apply prescribed levels of ionizing radiation for diagnostic examinations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
• Current ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N).
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• CPR (BLS) certification.
• Ability to insert and remove IVs.
• Client requirement: If not ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography at time of hire, technologist must obtain CT registry/license within one year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography.
• Experience caring for adult and older adult patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100-0700.
• Shift days: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Start date contingent upon credentialing clearance; rescheduled if not cleared by posted start date.

Impacting Patient Care

As a CT technologist in this role, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services that contribute to timely and accurate patient care decisions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, following established protocols to maintain image quality and patient safety.
