As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Awareness in West Warwick, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, property concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
