Accounting Data Analyst

The Accounting Data Analyst is responsible for assisting the VP of Accounting with collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting data to help other managers drive informed decisions. Their role is to help improve business processes, identify opportunities, and solve problems across departments within the company. IN PERSON POSITION located in Lufkin, TX. Build and maintain regular reports and dashboards timely to support management. Collaborate with other departments to help drive efficiencies in operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and data standards. Identify trends and patterns to support pricing, merchandising, promotions, product, or financial strategies. Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience, including advanced functions and data modeling. Power BI, SQL or coding languages such as Python is highly desirable.
