The position requires the person to:Communicate and work with customers and associates at all levelsLearn how to and then assist with reviewing and answering basic inquiries from customersMake computer inquiries and entries relating to customer accountsCommunicate with customers and others as needed to research problems and find solutionsCollect pertinent information from customers to handle inquiries in a timely and accurate mannerPrioritize and organize work to ensure it is completed in a timely mannerDocument customer requests and learn how to assist agents with basic tasksWork with confidential and/or sensitive information, data, and matters in accordance with company standardsMaintain punctual attendance according to an assigned work schedule at a company approved work locationAssist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon requestDesired Skills & ExperienceHigh school diploma or its equivalent is requiredDirect insurance agency/company experience is a plusMust type a minimum of 40 words per minute with 85% accuracyFlexibility for occasional and/or seasonal overtimeExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple assignmentsBenefitsAuto-Owners offers a wide range of career opportunities, and we are seeking talent that will help us continue our long tradition of success.
