Athletic/Event Worker

This posting is for athletic/event workers that have been approved by the Site Athletic Director. Athletic/event workers are not permitted to begin services until cleared by Human Resources.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass a background clearance
• Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
• Ability to secure and handle cash
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

Term of Employment: Seasonal

Compensation: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

Reports To: Site Athletic Director

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assists in setting-up and break down of facility for athletic events, ticket sales and/or running the clock, keeping scorebook, running the scoreboard and other game-day responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain and create an atmosphere of safety and excellent customer service
• Provide assistance to event attendees or staff when needed or asked
• Enforce District policies at all times
• Performs various similar duties as required by circumstances at specific events, such as clearing trash from facilities
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities
