Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Medical Assistant in Long Beach, CA.

This is an on-site contract opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule.

Position Highlights:
• Pay: $22 to $24/hour
• Type: Five-Month Contract, possibility of an extension
• Location: Long Beach, CA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities:
• Room patients and prepare them for their appointments.
• Assist with patient intake and collect required patient information.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments and clinic needs.
• Support providers and clinical staff with daily patient care activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and patient confidentiality procedures.
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications:
• Medical Assistant certification required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
