Step into a vibrant educational environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) can make a significant difference for students across Washington and Greene County, PA. This full-time, contract opportunity works onsite throughout the school year, supporting young learners in their academic and communication growth.
You’ll have the chance to provide vital SLP services at two unique assignments:
- One position is based at Washington Park Elementary, with a 50-student caseload and a consistent daily schedule.
- The other involves traveling to various schools (Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg Campus), offering diverse experiences each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP - CCC credential and PA SLP Educator Certificate required
- Previous experience serving school-aged students as an SLP
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Adaptability to travel between multiple school sites
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to commit to the full contract term
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families
- Maintain accurate treatment records and attend necessary meetings
- Participate in required training on August 13th, 14th (and 17th for traveling position)
- Travel as needed between assigned locations for onsite position
