Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive/Acute Oncology Telemetry Unit requiring 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Progressive/Acute Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Telemetry monitoring for oncology patient population
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active KY State or Compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EKG exam certification required
• 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred
• Chemotherapy administration and monitoring skills preferred
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within an oncology unit, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Expected to work some winter holidays
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all UK affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
