Position: Mortgage Loan Officer Location: Plattsburgh, NY Job Id: 2649 Number of Openings: 1 Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Mortgage Lending / Financial Services Experience Level: Mortgage sales experience preferred Compensation: $100,000+ First-Year Potential + Sign-On Bonus Earnings: On Track Earnings of over $100,000 for the year (2026) Responsibilities Business Development & Networking Conduct outside sales calls to generate new mortgage leads. Build referral networks with realtors, builders, developers, financial advisors, and community partners . Attend real estate events, networking functions, and community activities to grow lead volume. Maintain consistent mortgage production to meet performance goals. Member Consultation & Service Consult with members to identify appropriate home loan and refinance options. Provide knowledgeable support on rates, terms, and mortgage program eligibility. Deliver exceptional service throughout the mortgage process. Mortgage Application & Credit Assessment Interview applicants and collect financial information to determine loan eligibility. Analyze credit reports, income, and financial history to assess creditworthiness. Prepare and gather all required documentation prior to loan processing.
