Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant

Lead Dental AssistantWe are a multi-location dental practice focused on high quality patient care, efficiency and a strong team culture. We're seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to help steer pediatric clinical operations and support our practice as we continue to grow.Position Overview: In this leadership role you'll oversee assistant-level staff, ensure clinical standards are met, support training, and assist chairside when needed. You'll be both a practitioner and a mentor.Responsibilities:Lead clinical team in daily operations; assist chairside as neededOversee and train dental assistants (new and existing)Ensure consistent high-quality chairside assistance, impressions, four-handed dentistry, treatment planning supportStrong capability with X-rays, understanding of insurance (including what's covered in GA, especially Medicaid)Be the first to arrive/last to leave when required — ownership of clinic flowCoordinate sterilization, instrument readiness, inventory and suppliesWork closely with doctors and front?office staff to support patient care and schedulingQualifications:Bilingual (Spanish & English) requiredSeveral years of dental assisting experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)X-ray certification requiredCoronal Polishing Certification required (Georgia requirement for polishing duties)Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, team-orientedFamiliar with impressions, retainers, treatment planning, insurance nuances in GeorgiaDependable, energetic, and ready to leadSchedule: Full-time, across two of our locations.
