Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager

Role Overview This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and procuring equipment, and overseeing departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise staff recruitment, training, work assignments, performance evaluations, and professional development. Participate in staffing, revenue, and expense budgeting, ensuring departmental goals are met. Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring interventions are age-appropriate and documented per policy. Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions. Coordinate staffing needs, approve payroll, and lead staff communications and meetings. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Experience: 2-5 years (minimum), with supervisory experience preferred (2+ years). Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
