• Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Record Center Specialist is responsible for processing orders and handling the movement, storage, and retrieval of records, files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting, carrying, and organizing of boxes while working in a warehouse environment.

Work Schedule:

• 5 days per week
• 9-hour shifts, including:
• • 30-minute lunch break
  • Two 15-minute paid breaks

Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately.
• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes.
• Read labels and organize materials according to company procedures.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and locate inventory.
• Operate handheld scanners for inventory management.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Manually load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks using material handling equipment.
• Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Climb ladders to access stored materials when required.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires continuous physical activity throughout the workday, including:

• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Frequent kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, twisting, and crawling.
• Reaching overhead and forward regularly.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving boxes weighing 10–100 lbs. without assistance.
• Loading and transporting boxes using hand carts and pallet jacks.
• Working on uneven and concrete surfaces, including inclines and stairs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer systems.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders safely.

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Protective footwear is required and must:

• Meet ASTM F2413-11 safety toe standards.
• Have a slip-resistant rating designated as "Better" or "Best."

Work Environment:

• Warehouse/record storage facility.
• Frequent manual material handling.
• Continuous movement throughout the shift.
• Exposure to concrete floors, storage racks, and warehouse equipment.
