Are you an experienced diesel mechanic who enjoys working independently and making an impact every day? We’re looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform on-site service, inspections, and repairs for commercial trucks and heavy‑duty vehicles – no overnight travel required. This is a local, field‑based role offering a company‑provided vehicle, covered expenses, and performance‑based bonuses. What You’ll Do Perform on‑site preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, braking systems, and powertrains. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and emissions‑related issues using diagnostic tools and software. Conduct DOT inspections and complete detailed service documentation with accuracy and professionalism. Plan repair strategies, estimate time and parts needs, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. Maintain your mobile workspace and company vehicle to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization. Deliver outstanding customer service and help ensure fleet uptime and reliability. Mentor junior technicians when needed and share best practices across the service team. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on diesel or heavy truck repair; mobile or field experience preferred. Education: Technical training or equivalent hands‑on background.
