Activities Assistant (Full-Time)

$17.5 - $18.5 per hour

Job Description

Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is hiring a full-time Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. This role is ideal for someone energetic, compassionate, and motivated to create meaningful daily experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily recreational and social activities
Encourage resident participation and engagement
Support group and one-on-one programs
Set up and clean up activity spaces
Document participation and attendance
Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Experience working with elderly residents or patients preferred
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Reliable, compassionate, and engaging personality
