Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still engaging closely with our supportive team. Our workplace values collaborative discussions and ongoing learning, offering a telehealth setting that fosters meaningful connections with both patients and colleagues. We work diligently Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient requirements and therapy schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for older adults, focusing on their unique challenges and identifying areas of need.

• Design and execute tailored treatment plans that encompass cognitive, physical, and social health considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, to address geriatric-specific psychiatric disorders.

• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for older adults experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available resources, and treatment options to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure collaborative care and sharing of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered around the geriatric population, specifically targeting individuals aged 65 and older who may be struggling with a range of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• A strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and proven knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to older adults and their families is a significant plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
