Together, our dedicated associates work hard to build excellent resident experiences while maintaining high-quality homes and ensuring potential residents are presented with a rental property they can't refuse.Your Role on the TeamThe Renewal Specialist is responsible for negotiating and finalizing lease renewals with current residents in the assigned market. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service throughout the renewal process while ensuring the achievement of renewal metrics and goals set by market leadership.This position includes but is not limited to the following activities:Initiate communication with current residents to discuss and present lease renewal options.Negotiate lease renewals in accordance with asset management guidelines to meet renewal targets.Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns throughout the renewal process.Accurately prepare and process lease documents in a timely manner.Foster a collaborative and professional working environment with colleagues, supervisors, and external parties.Provide administrative support, including clerical tasks, data entry, and document processing.Assist with special projects as required.Support department staff within the assigned region as needed.Your Experience IncludesHigh school diploma or GEDAn active real estate license is required for this roleBroad residential leasing knowledgeProven experience in customer service or administrative functionsExperience in the property management or maintenance industry is helpfulExcellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailStrong verbal and written communications skillsEffective customer service and conflict resolution skillsTechnological proficiency including in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and AdobeWhy UsWe stand for flexibility, opportunity, and a home that people can make their own.
