About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Relief to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 3, Relief, you will be accountable for ensuring production line coverage across key positions and maintaining product quality and compliance with specifications during daily operations.

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)

• Ensure production line positions (mixing, sheeting, oven, packing) are properly covered during breaks and absences
• Operate and support multiple bakery processes to maintain product quality and consistency
• Follow Aspire SOPs, equipment manuals, and standard work procedures
• Collaborate with Operators and Leads to optimize line performance
• Identify issues through daily area walks and support waste reduction efforts
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (AOE)
• Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ingredient Operator or related role
• Basic knowledge of dough mixing and production equipment operation
• Ability to read and interpret scale and temperature measurements
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance up to 100 lbs)

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience in a fast-paced production or food manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (e.g., Centerline, CIL)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working with computer systems and production interfaces

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $25-26 Shift: 3rd shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am (CA and NJ only)
