Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Amsterdam, NY location to perform blood collections, prepare specimens, and provide patient services. The role involves venipuncture, data entry, billing, and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Travel to additional sites as needed and perform administrative duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
- Proven customer service track record
Compensation: $17.75-$21.00 per hour
