Heavy Equipment Mechanic

MD Landscaping is seeking a skilled **Heavy Equipment Mechanic** to join our landscape company’s maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing thorough preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery. **Key Responsibilities** * Skid steers* Execute field maintenance and on‐site repairs when required.* Document work completed and communicate equipment status with supervisors and team members.* Must supply a personal basic tool set and toolbox; specialty shop tools will be provided.* Ability to work well in a fast‐paced environment with a large, diverse fleet.Additional heavy equipment as neededWork independently and manage tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.**Qualifications & Requirements** Proven experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Self‐motivated with strong time‐management and communication skills.
