Assistant Controller

Overview Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Las Vegas, NV within the financial services industry. This role is ideal for an accounting and finance professional who is ready to take on a hands-on leadership position supporting financial reporting, account reconciliations, internal controls, budgeting, and compliance. The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to help ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and strong accounting processes. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and support accurate financial reports, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes. Support internal control procedures and help ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulatory requirements. Partner with the Controller to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Supervise or support accounting staff, providing guidance on daily accounting activities and deadlines. Collaborate with internal departments to research discrepancies, resolve issues, and provide financial insight. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $80,000 to $99,000 per year.
